haulin' primark, next and clinique
I did a little shopping at the weekend and as it's not often I get to town for a shopping trip let alone have time to photograph it I thought that i'd share my purchases.
My foundation is running very low so when popping into boots to buy a mothers day gift I decided to treat myself to a Clinique foundation for the first time. The beauty assistant was really lovely and helpful in advising me on my first Clinique purchases so I looked at the cleansers and makeup removers too. I ended up leaving boots with Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara, the Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser and Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm.
I spent the rest of my Next gift voucher on some new black skinny jeans that I really need and these amazing blue mirrored aviators!
My trip to Primark was purely for pj's but I seemed to leave with a giant bag of goodies including four sets of pyjamas, some tights, plain black socks, a lightweight cord statement necklace, a heavier chain pastel necklace (which I love!), nine sets of stud earrings and one of my favvvourite films - Definitely, Maybe.
I haven't added the prices to this post but if you want to know any then ask in the comments :)
Continuing on my spree I've bought a few new Essie nail polishes including a replacement base coat and i'm also looking to get some gorgeous mirrored furniture! I'm in need of a new dressing table stool and I have my eye on a couple of beautiful venetian dressing tables, though even a standard type of dressing table with a mirror style design would look great and make a great statement piece in my wardrobe bedroom. I need some help deciding on the furniture design though, my wardrobe doors are a vintage style with ornate dark metal handles so i'm leaning towards the venetian style furniture to bring the whole room together.

I'm a real fan of Clinique as I used to use their products. I have tried your moisture surge foundation but not tried the cleanser as I prefer the face wash. The trouble is I get bored so quickly and have to try another brand!
ReplyDeleteThe Clinique Take The Day Off Balm is one of my favourite cleansers it's amazing! Love the pjs too :)
