my must haves: urban decay naked 2 palette

I received the Naked 2 Palette so soo long ago and have been using and loving it for so long that I don't know why I haven't blogged about it until now, especially seeing as I took these photos within days of opening the palette for the first time.

This beautiful neutral palette has everything I need for everyday eye wear, it contains my favourite highlight and my blackest black. A nude-y colour that seems to work perfectly as a base for anything I throw at it and two perfect complimenting eyeshadow shades for my mac indianwood paint pot. I'm talking about the following; bootycall, blackout, tease, snakebite and half baked.

I highly recommend the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette as a statement basic palette with a little bit of everything neutral. I've not used much of anything else neutral since receiving it and actually this collection has started a little love affair with Urban Decay eye shadows :D The consistency and pay off of urban decay eye shadows appears to be equivalent (at least) to mac shadows which allows me to use them both in my looks whereas some shadow palettes that I have that aren't quite on par with UD and Mac are not so easily blended with them.

I'm no expert when it comes to eye makeup or any makeup for that matter but I know what I like and I really like this :)
