clinique take the day off review
I recently updated my skincare routine to include some much better products and brands and one of the things I changed was my makeup remover. I'm now using my first ever cleansing balm and I really like it.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is said to be a lightweight balm that quickly 'dissolves' stubborn makeup. I'm not sure about the term they've used there but it absolutely does the job and very well too though having never used a cleansing balm before I can't really comment on the 'lightweight' part of the product. I've found that a small amount on my fingertips can go a long way and if I have a lot of eye makeup on I can use the same amount of product that I normally would, to me that is fantastic as it means I can wear more without worrying about having to scrub it off before bed.
The Clinique cleansing balm is expectedly oily but when rinsed off and wiped away with a muslin cloth there is no residue left at all which is probably the thing I love most about the product. It leaves my skin so clean, refreshed and smooth as well. Now I have broken out in a number of places recently but I have also drastically changed my routine including my makeup remover, cleanser, toner and moisturiser so that is absolutely expected. I can't wait for my skin to calm down a little so that I can start appreciating the benefits that these products are bringing to my skin.
I'll review my other new skincare products soon, until then I'd love to hear what you think about cleansing balms and if you've tried this one by Clinique - what do you think of it?
