berry burgundy booties
Following my craving for thigh boots a couple of weeks ago I bought a pair of low heeled over knee boots by Ravel with beautiful gold piping and buckle details, I of course bought them from my go-to shoe store, Spartoo. They arrived promptly and I've been wearing them almost every other day since they came into my life so I can't wait to show you in an outfit post.
Onto the latest boot on my ever growing footwear wishlist - This time it's a colourful one. More specifically I'd really like to get hold of a burgundy or berry coloured ankle boot. Deep red shades are some of my favourite autumnal and winter colours to wear so it makes sense that I would have a pair of pretty wine coloured boots to put with my black jeans, some khaki shorts, or navy skirts and so on. I love mixing these on trend colours with one another in layered outfits for this season and I think that a pair of suitably coloured boots will be the perfect way to do that. After I select a pair of red or purple-y boots I'll probably move onto some navy blue ones .. You can never have too many boots! Or at-least, I can never have too many boots. :)
This outfit by Anni (of FashionHippieLoves) is a perfect example of how I'd love to style some vibrant coloured boots with matching shade accessories. Be it a hat, handbag, even gloves or a jumper - I like to colour match as it can bring an outfit together. Khaki greens are my absolute favourite shades to pair with any berry coloured item so I especially love those h&m shorts she's wearing.
Help me pick some boots please! Again. :)
