craving: new season coats
The best winter coats around are beautifully structured, warm and evidently cosy and the high street stores are littered with gorgeous pieces that promise so much. I've searched through my favourite clothing shops to create a collection of on trend overcoats which I would just love to own. They're all looking seriously good this year so it wasn't easy to limit myself to just 4 options for each style I crave.
These amazing winter warmers come from the likes of New Look, Topshop, Warehouse, brands stocked in House of Fraser and more so some are of better quality than others and the prices heavily differ. By presenting my favourite pieces in this way I find myself drawn to my most favourite, most suitable, practical and stylish coat - the one I want more than all of the others presents itself much easier without prices and brand names being included.
Sat with a chill in my lounge I find myself drawn to the chunky pieces - the pink fur and thick cream teddy coats. White and cream coats are so simple, pretty and lend themselves to all outfits so I keep going back to the collarless flat textured coat. Biker jackets and coats will always have a special place in my hearts so I look to the fur and leather biker or the windproof looking teal suede and shearling biker coat. Interestingly I've picked out a number of oversized and long duster coats that I really like but none of which make it into my top 5.
So which to go for?? I still don't know, but with the temperature dropping what feels like more and more everyday I'll need to choose one soon.
