the abigail dress

Last week was my best friends engagement party and I wore this Chi Chi dress as it had arrived the same day. Now I'll be honest, I tried it on and really wasn't sure I liked it on me but my boyfriend did so I went with it anyway. My friends were complimenting me and the outfit but I just wasn't comfortable all night. I think it's because I've never actually worn a dress with so much poof to it; the netting and structure beneath the skirt felt alien to me. Then there was the top; the bodice pushed me up and out which I found quite bizarre as well. Simply put, this just isn't a very 'me' dress. It is however a dress perfect for my newly engaged friend, she loved it and now this Chi Chi beauty is all hers.. Consider it an extra engagement pressie. :) I love the dress on her and I can't fault the design or the quality. It's a good looking thing, just not on me - Bring back my bodycons! :D
