I haven't written a favourites post since March so skipping over April where my only favourite was becoming engaged and my beautiful ring I thought I'd publish one now... half way through June... so that you can see what I've been up to, the things I’ve been loving, games I’ve been playing and why I've been pretty absent from my blog recently.
eos lip balms
I'm alternating between three eos lip balms at the moment because I'm a bit obsessed with them! I have summer fruit, sweet mint and strawberry sorbet which I brought back with my from America and I'm beginning to wish that I stocked up on even more of these amazing lip balms because they're really nourishing and smell so good!!
chickpeas
I've cut out a number of things from my diet due to health requirements and so have needed to find alternatives to keep my meals interesting. I love to try new foods anyway and whilst chickpeas aren't exactly new to me I only ever used to have them once in a blue moon, now I have them at least once a week and I love it. :)
planning & google drive
I've been spending a lot of my time planning events or with my head in a spreadsheet or reading book / online tutorials to learn something new because of this a lot of my time has been sucked up by projects not leaving much time to relax or blog. I do love spreadsheets though and I honestly don't know what I would have done without Google Drive Sheets on my phone, iPad and computer over these last couple of months, they're a god send.

The two products from Umberto Giannini that I love both help to massively calm my frizz down! Without them I'd be a blonde Hagrid every day.. I'm talking about the Perfect Beauty Finishing Cream and Instant Beauty Makeover Spray.
playing online
As I mentioned I've been so busy so I've taken up a bit of online gaming as a release. I already play a number of games on my phone as a wind down from work or whatever I've been doing but because you can play with no deposit at netbet it was easy to get into and begin winning. :) I've been playing some of the online casino games (like Poker and Roulette) because I love playing things like that on my phone so why not make it a little more interesting.

Before switching back to Garnier BB Cream I was having a right mare with my skin and any foundation I have ever used or tried. Nothing was working with my skin and everything was being rejected by a sprouting of under-skin spots or dry patches so they had to be ditched off. The Garnier BB Cream in 'light' is the only product I can wear right now that will not break me out which is great because I'm really enjoying the glow it gives me. :)
star earrings & a new top ear stud
I think I've mentioned before that the body jewellery shop is where I normally go for jewellery for my top ear piercing but I've got these silver star studs as well that I've been wearing most days and have also replaced my silver star top ear stud (also from bodyjewelleryshop earrings) with a purple jewelled labret piercing so I've had that in for a little while now too!
new look tan stud cowboy boots
Where would I be without these shoes?! They're pretty much my 'everydays' at the moment and I can't fault how comfy and versatile they are. Another triumph for New Look footwear!
frends rose gold headphones
I've been wearing these beauties on and off every since my 'legit' apple headphones broke, they're so pretty and stylish and I don't know why I haven't been wearing them more often. I love these bad boys!
l'oreal professional steampod
My review of the SteamPod went up a while ago now and I'm still raving about it to pretty much anyone who'll listen. This straightener is the only thing that keeps my hair straight all day and then some! It's a wonderful thing.
jewellery box silver arrow bracelet
How adorable is this little silver arrow bracelet?! I've been reaching for this piece a lot because it's so simple, dainty and goes with every single outfit I wear.
once upon a time
Late to the party but I've finally finished watching all of the OUAT series now which makes me completely up to date so I can't wait for season 5 to premiere in September this year.
botanics 3 in 1 cleanser
Last but by no means least is the Botanics Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution. I recently ditched of my holy grail of face cleaners for this one which is a pretty big deal because I'd been using the Clean&Clear cleanser for as long as I can remember. This cleanser is so light, fresh and effective, it feels and smells as simple as water but does so much more and I've found my skin feels less strained after removing my makeup.
