Christmas gift ideas

Each year I knock out a handful of wishlists and gift idea posts for Christmas and as I've already started buying this years presents for my friends and family I thought I'd share some of the fab things I've come across along the way. This post is full of a mix of items including makeup, home decor and foods - a good combination to start the process of Christmas gift shopping I think!

To me wrapping christmas gifts is part of the fun of giving during the festive season, I've already order my wrapping paper supplies but I need some gift bags to put them in and these brown paper reindeer bags are adorable - perfect as a temporary home for this fluffy unicorn hot water bottle, unicorns & glitter mug and a rose gold phone charger or Dune iPad case. In fact any of these gifts would work well together as a collection of presents for someone close to you. I think that the Tanya Burr nail polish gift pack with white sequin makeup bag and the chalkboard globe with metallic strap watch would make the perfect couple of gifts for some people I know, though if they read this blog post I suspect the game is up.

Home decor and cute trinket boxes are easy and thoughtful gifts to give, from a silver deer topped pink trinket box to a more grown up gold framed glass box or even a functional as well as ornamental hourglass accessory all are good inexpensive gifts people will love and use.

Then there's food, giving the gift of tasty treats is almost always a good idea so make it a little more interesting with things such as sushi-looking sweets and biscuit-like chocolates!
