My first #LFBeautyBox - the October
It's been some time since I bought a beauty box let alone a subscription to one so on ordering the Look Fantastic beauty box I awaited my surprise contents almost nervously. My parcel arrived within days of purchasing a subscription online and I'm more than satisfied with the contents, the service and of course, the packaging.
If i'm completely honest, what drew me to this beauty box was quite simply how beautiful the box is. I've been (very) obsessed with metallics in recent months, especially muted golds displayed on white backgrounds - so simple, elegant and pretty!
The contents of the box includes the following, of which I have began using most of.
Balance Me radiance face mask - This Balance Me clay face mask promises to polish skin, offer hydration and leave behind smooth finished skin in just five minutes so I look forward to using it soon, I'll keep you updated on the results.
Nuxe reve de miel hand and nail cream - I began using this hand cream almost straight away what with the colder weather moving in my hands need all of the help and protection they can get. So far the Nuxe hand and nail cream offers exactly what it should.
Percy & Reed volumising no oil oil - This is not my first experience using this little bottle of goodness by Percy & Reed. It works well as a moisturising smoothing serum type product.
Elemis hydra-balance day cream - One of my reasons for subscribing to a beauty box is due to my hunt for a good moisturising day cream that works well with my skin and doesn't break me out. I'm hoping that this is the one as it's been nice so far, we will see.
Murad AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser - An age reforming cleanser said to encourage clarity and brightness of the skin. Having used this just once so far I expect results to display themselves the more this exfoliating cleanser is used.
Monu firming moisturiser - As with the Elemis day cream I'll trial this firming moisturiser to see if it should be my new everyday moisturiser.
Look Good Feel Better eye shading brush - Known to be of good quality this eye shading makeup brush is a good addition to my collection of brushes as it blends well.
