craving: aztec

Aztec prints have been around for so long now but I still lust after almost every printed piece that I see, especially as this season I can see a lot more variety in terms of print style and colour creativity. My favourite combination being used is the pastel colour prints like the tan trim rucksack (#12) these rich pastel shades work so well, i'd love it as a skirt. It looks as though I'm distinctly drawn to monochrome but that's because there is so much of it! Prints are so bold themselves that it's easy to go safe on the colour so not to make too much of a bold statement but it depends on what you like. I know that I could wear the black and white bodycon dress to work but not the bright coral and white top and skirt co-ords sat above it (which I have totally ordered!) Those will be worn during the summer, on nights out and of course whilst on holiday. I can see them being perfect after a day of wearing my pastel aztec bikini from asos by the pool.
