living in ankle boots this autumn

So I live in ankle boots all year round and not just in autumn but I thought I'd share some of my boots collection with you, particularly the ones that will be frequenting my feet over the coming months. Seeing as I now that I have my beautiful new dressing room storage shelves especially for my shoes to be displayed in what better way to show you some of my go-to's.

I do have more ankle boots that are in other shoe storage but these pairs from brands like Jeffrey Campbell, Mango and Carvela and stores like Zara and House of Fraser. I've got four pairs of fringed ankle boots, three pairs of tan and i'm not even sure how many black ones. All a mix of heel heights from an inch to the 4.5 that the greige calf boots on the middle shelf offers.

My next pair of ankle boots will likely been some black leather chelsea boots, the type with a low chunky heel and elastic side detail. Or a pair of 8 eyelet Dr Martens, the perfect sturdy chunky flat boot for comfort and style and every day easy wearing.

I feel like I need to own a rich deep red pair of boots, sure I have a burgundy pair (top left) but they're so dark that it's not obvious they're very red (top left shelf). I want some metallic boots to, some with the perfect amount of glitz and shine without being super over the top so maybe a dark grey little heeled ankle boot.
